Performing
Students have many performance opportunities at our school. Our performing group participates in many local civic events. The group has performed at Mohegan Sun, with Connecticut Children's Theater, and in cameo roles at Warner Theater. Almost all students have the talent for this aspect of Irish Dance. Students learn the responsibility of being relied on, how to be a team player, and have a great deal of fun along the way!
Ceilis
From time to time, we host a ceili (Irish social dance). The school does not hold formal recitals, but the ceili provides an opportunity for the students to display their skills in a less formal setting. Aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, sisters, brothers, friends — besides watching the dancers perform — can all learn enough basic footwork to take part in the ceili dances. These are great, fun, traditional Irish get-togethers.
